Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. April 24 – Team USA will take on both Great Britain and France tomorrow in the Finals of the Maureen Connolly Cup and the Margaret Court Cup in the highly contested 34th ITF Seniors World Team Championships. The Marquee event is currently underway at eight outstanding tennis facilities in Palm Beach County.

The U.S. will face-off against Great Britain to defend the Maureen Connolly Cup for the seventh consecutive time in the women’s 55-age division in the Finals which begin 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 25 at BallenIsles Country Club.

The womens 45 Finals which also begins at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 25 at The Polo Club will pit Team USA against France in a battle for the Margaret Court Cup.

Finals will also begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 25 at Boca West where teams are still to be determined by today’s results.

Eight outstanding tennis facilities in Palm Beach County have been selected as venues for the 15-day marquee event. BallenIsles Country Club as Host site in North County, Mirasol Country Club, PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center, Polo Club of Boca Raton as Host site in South County, Boca West Country Club, Boca Grove Country Club and Woodfield Country Club.

The 2014 ITF Seniors World Championships are endorsed by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau, International Tennis Federation, United States Tennis Association and the Florida USTA.
