“We are extremely proud to be selected by the Anquan Boldin Foundation to host this NFL star-studded event at BallenIsles for such a worthy cause,” said BallenIsles General Manager Derrick Barnett.
Proceeds from the Golf tournament benefit the Anquan Boldin “Q81” Foundation www.Q81.org, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the educational and life opportunities of underprivileged children. “This is our 8th annual Q-Festival Weekend from April 11 – 13 and we’re expecting over 30 NFL players to attend the tournament at BallenIsles to mark the beginning of Q-Fest this year,” said Boldin, who is also an inductee of the Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame.
“The goals of Anquan’s Foundation are well aligned with BallenIsles philanthropic reputation and we are pleased to support an event that will benefit underprivileged children,” said BallenIsles Director of Marketing Brian Merbler.
A Florida Crystals sponsored hospitality suite is furnished with athletic wear, bags, hats, and other delights, compliments of gift sponsors Under Armour, BB&T and Cutters. A silent auction and Awards dinner sponsored by BB&T will follow in the Club’s popular Grill Room. BallenIsles www.BallenIsles.org is highly regarded for its 3 championship golf courses, where many golf legends like Arnold Palmer originally qualified for the PGA Tour, and Jack Nicklaus and Julius Boros won PGA Championships. It’s also home to a $26 million state-of-the-art Sports Complex that is testimony to the Club’s extraordinary commitment to a healthy member lifestyle. Out of nearly 200 Clubs managed worldwide by Troon Golf, BallenIsles has been awarded the distinction “Facility of the Year”.
