PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida, Jan. 28 – Arias from Romantic Italian Operas, Neapolitan Melodies and popular Broadway Musicals will open the 2013 BallenIsles Charities Foundation Second Annual Community Fundraising Benefit with “An Evening of Opera” at the Eissey Campus Theatre of Palm Beach State College at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013.
“The BallenIsles Charities Foundation is proud to join with the Palm Beach State College to present an enchanting evening of musical performance by the Palm Beach Opera Young Artists. This is an extraordinary curtain raiser on a magnificent weekend of events to follow at BallenIsles Country Club from Thursday, February 7 – Sunday February 10, 2013,” said BallenIsles Charities Foundation President Fred Corrado .
“Through the immense generosity with which our fundraising efforts were met last year, we were able to positively impact the lives of many people of all ages across a spectrum of needs in the neighborhoods outside of our gates in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach and Jupiter. This year we are redoubling our efforts to make a difference,” he added.
The event marks the start of the Foundation’s fundraising season to benefit local programs and organizations and will continue in February with its 2nd Annual Community Fundraising Weekend Benefit. A stellar line up of events includes a “Denim & Diamonds” Opening Banquet; a Special Two-Part Bridge Event hosted by World Renowned Bridge Teacher, Author and Tournament Champion Larry Cohen ; a Hit, Play, Love….Tennis Mixer; a “Passion for Fashion” fashion show and luncheon; and a Tee it Up “Fore” Charity Golf Event & Margarita BBQ.
