Mark Hopkinson is the Founder and CEO of NewsMark Public Relations Inc., a full-service public relations firm headquartered in Florida and serving clients worldwide. Hopkinson began his career as a BBC-trained broadcast journalist, covering business, political and legal affairs. In 1983, he joined the British Government’s Press and Public Affairs Office in New York and was later appointed Vice Consul to head the Television and Radio Division. During his tenure, Hopkinson worked on press arrangements for British Prime Ministerial visits to the US, cultivating media relations on behalf of Britain’s political and commercial interests, including members of the Royal Family. Hopkinson resigned from his position in 1999 and relocated to Boca Raton, South Florida.
