– with Roaring 20’s Great Gatsby-style Speakeasy Soiree

Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. Jan 23, 2019 A Roaring 20’s style Speakeasy Soiree that would have been the envy of the Great Gatsby, marked the delightful grand reopening celebrations for the newly redesigned $35 million BallenIsles Clubhouse.

A Dedication Ceremony that unveiled a bronze plaque commemorating the Club’s official ribbon cutting ceremony, led the evening’s festivities on Saturday, January 19, 2019. BallenIsles General Manager Ryan Walls paid special tribute to the Members who had contributed as volunteers to the success of the project, presenting each with a framed memento – an exterior photograph of the BallenIsles Clubhouse, taken from the vantage of its famed East Course. Special recognition was given to Hedrick Brothers Construction for their contributions to the success of the construction project.

“Your contributions to the success of this renovation are deeply appreciated. It gives me great pleasure to present you with this small token of appreciation. Your efforts have helped continue the legacy of BallenIsles as a modern masterpiece which members will enjoy for many years to come,” Mr. Walls said.

Some 400 club members arriving for the Grand Reopening Gala could present a secret password for entry which set the tone for the evening’s speakeasy flair. Guests were greeted upon arrival in the themed decorated grand lobby by staff with an offering of wine and champagne. A decadent Dessert and Champagne Lounge, a Bourbon Jazz Lounge, Food stations served by the Club’s expanded new kitchens, plus live entertainment from a variety of performers – the tribute band Entourage, Carl Padilla – a one-man band, and even Dueling Pianos, highlighted the evening’s celebrations.

Members were also greeted by the expansive architectural redesign of the BallenIsles clubhouse. From the spectacular Grand Lobby with vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows, to the iconic Harry’s Lounge, in tribute to its well-storied PGA Professional Harry Pezzullo, the sweeping architectural changes maximize both indoor and outdoor usage and views. Wide-ranging amenities include six dining venues, Harry’s Lounge, Bistro 105, the Cabana, an expanded Circle 100 Main Dining Room, a new and modern upscale restaurant called Evolution, and the spectacular addition of The BallenIsles Grille overlooking the 18th green of the East Course. Fondly dubbed The B.I.G, it features a blend of gastropub cuisine and 18 TVs for never missing the game. Harry’s Lounge has also been expanded along with an additional 9,000 square feet of outdoor verandas for dining, relaxing and spending time with friends on the Grand and Golf Terraces.
