Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. May 3  – BallenIsles PGA Teaching Professional Chris Kaufman, has been honored as the South East Florida PGA Teacher of the Year for his innovative contributions to golf instruction.

“This prestigious award from the PGA’s South Florida Chapter is a huge accomplishment for Chris and we appreciate his dedication to growing the game of golf,” said BallenIsles Country Club’s Director of Golf, Brian Kelley .

The award, voted on by his peers, recognizes the Professional who provides outstanding service as a golf instructor. The recipient is selected by the SFPGA based on his efforts in promoting golf, use of teachings, involvement in junior activities, and teaching techniques.

BallenIsles is also highly regarded for its championship golf courses, where many golf legends originally qualified for the PGA Tour. Whether it’s the $9 million redesigned East Course by award winning golf course architect Keith Foster, the North Course, designed by Joe Lee, or the South Course, redesigned by Gene Bates, members enjoy the exceptional choice of playing at three distinct courses at BallenIsles.

Although restricted to members and their guests, BallenIsles’ exceptional facilities, which include a $26 million state-of-the-art Sports Complex that is testimony to the Club’s extraordinary commitment to a healthy member lifestyle, have a distinguished history as the choice of many professional athletes for both practice and competition. These include members, Venus and Serena Williams and the Senior PGA Tour’s major success story, Bruce Fleisher. For more information visit www.BallenIsles.org.
