Lake Worth, Fl. March 14, 2016 – More than 60 golfers teed off Monday at The Falls Club of the Palm Beaches for the 21st Annual Palm Beach Golf Tournament.
Hosted by Maccabi USA, the annual tournament at The Falls Club, is dedicated to raising capital for a scholarship fund to help qualified Jewish athletes from the USA and “lost” Jewish communities in Europe and Asia, participate in the 2017 World Maccabiah Games in Israel.
It’s co-chaired by Maccabi USA Chairman, Bob Spivak of Philadelphia and Boca Raton and Lou Shook, of Delray Beach. “Athletes from many “lost” communities are only able to participate in the Games with full scholarships as economies in many of these countries have been decimated. I’m glad we are able to use this golf tournament to raise the funds that will help build Jewish continuity through the talented kids that will now be able to compete in the Games.” Spivak said.
To make a contribution to help immerse sponsored athletes in their Jewish identity, culture, history, heritage and traditions in the Jewish State, call Maccabi USA’s Marketing Director Sara Feinstein at (267)627-5654.
“The management and staff at the Falls Club are always great to work with and they make hosting this annual event a pleasure. Our guests enjoy the challenging course and great hospitality before and after the tournament,” Feinstein said.
The Falls Club of the Palm Beaches premier golf experience, high-end services and amenities are further enhanced by a fully appointed golf shop, a complete caddie program, complimentary snack pavilion, multiple tennis courts, health club with certified personal trainers and tennis professionals, separate men’s and ladies’ card rooms, expansive locker rooms, a relaxed and casual 19th-hole and full-service ‘Grille Room’ restaurant, along with a bar & lounge overlooking the unique signature rock waterfall that cascades beyond the golf course’s 16th hole.
